Map of Indian Lake
and  some of Ricks secret fishing holes.

#1. Great areas for spring walleye and pike. Shallow gradual drop offs near rivers mouth's. TIP: Try floating Rapala's & crawler rigs.

#2. Ledge drops off 3' - 8' average some places 3' - 4' to 10'. Great for walleye or pike. TIP: Troll ledge, (runs about 2 miles) Good any time of year. Real popular with ice fisherman.

#3. Rock Pile - excellent in spring for walleye, perch, pike and bass. Most popular fishing.
TIP: Slip-bobber and leach. Set at about 3' or if you like to troll - try Rapala's floaters (5 to 11 sizes) All colors May 15 thru June 24th.

#4. Deep area usually holds good walleye all year. Try early morning crawler harness. Average 10' to 12' deep. Also good ice fishing for perch.

#5. Don't be afraid to go close in, 6' to 9' deep. Good, all kinds of baits, jig's, drifting, put your stuff out and run it.

#6. Golf course area good walleye, pike, perch and muskie. Indian river runs out here and some of the deepest water in the lake can be found in this area.

#7. Lang's Bay is a really shallow area. Excellent for panfish almost all year long. Lots of pike and walleye are here also. The #1 spot for perch when ice moves out in late April.

#8. Flats, large area mostly 10' some patchy areas with reed's will shallow up to 2' to 3' feet. You might find some spring blue gills and crappies here June 1 thru 3rd week.

#9. The hole, approximately 50 x 60 feet wide,
approximately depth 12' to 20' deep. Small in size but holds perch in good numbers all summer long and a few walleye.
